Ok everyone… let’s talk about casting new males in our videos. We get around 5-10 emails from guys each week who want to be in our videos. So why do you see the same 3-4 guys in every scene? Because it’s a lot more complicated than you might think. Being in the videos is a lot of fun and I wish it was something that all of you could experience at least once! But… here’s why it’s not practical for most males:
1) I can’t hire anyone to do this job who is not legally able to work in the USA. It’s not me being unfair to foreigners - It’s me obeying the law. One of the ways you stay in business for 22 years is to obey all laws.
2) Performing in femdom scenes is not a full time job. It’s a 3 hour job that pays $325. At most, we would put you in 10 scenes a year, which is less than 1 scene per month. The guys we use make a living by working for a variety of companies, making their own content, and doing other work. I can’t help you with any of that. I pay you for the scene, say goodbye at the end of the day, and then you are on your own until I have another scene for you.
3) You do not get to choose who you want to be in a scene with. I book a female performer and then choose the male performer I think will be the best fit in the scene.
4) You cannot wear a mask or ask me to blur your face in the scene. Once you perform in one scene, your face will be on the Internet forever. That means 10 years from now if you are applying for a job and they use facial recognition software to scan the internet, they will find it. We had a female performer in England who was denied travel to the USA recently when the British Government found out she did porn (by scanning social media).
5) We do not pay for travel. So if you do not live in Vegas, you would probably spend way more on travel to get here than you will get in the scene. It would not make good business sense to pay for someone’s travel when we could just use someone who is already here in Vegas. If you are considering travel costs, make sure you factor in hotel costs.
6) All performers must be STD tested within 14 days of the scene. The STD test costs $220, takes 1-2 days for results, and you must pay for it yourself. It would not make good business sense for us to pay for your test when we could use someone who gets tested every two weeks like Jack, Fluffy, Marcelo, me. Guys who work in the industry stay tested all the time because they work for a variety of different companies and are able to use the same test for numerous scenes/content.
7) Scenes are often canceled or moved. If a female performer wakes up on the morning of her scene and says “I’m sick”, there is nothing I can do. So for those of you who say “I’ll fly in from 1,000 miles away for the scene!”, you might end up in a situation where you flew all the way out here and then the scene doesn’t happen”. Not a problem for talent who already lives in Vegas.
8) Every time we make a new scene, it’s an investment that comes out of my pocket. I have to pay a makeup artist, a female talent, a male talent, a production manager, pay for any props or set design, and pay for food on set. If the male talent doesn’t show up, or shows up unable to perform, I lose the money for that day and I don’t get the new content I need. If he can’t get an erection with a cameraman and production crew staring at him from 3 feet away, or he can’t cum, or if he has poor hygiene and the female performer is uncomfortable working with him, I might end up with a bad scene. It’s a huge risk for my business every time I try a new male performer.
9) Female performers have a choice about what scenes they do. Many of them ask before the scene “who will I be working with?”, and sometimes they say no. If you don’t have a twitter or IG with pictures of yourself, there’s a good chance the female performer will say no to the scene. Many of them will decline to work with performers they find unattractive. That’s why I say it’s impractical to shoot a 70 year old man. Remember how you felt about 70 year old woman when you were 22 years old? That’s how they see 70 year old men.
So you can see why we generally look for male performers who live in Vegas and are already regularly performing in the industry. Nothing personal… it’s just what makes sense for the business and for the performers.
NOTE: Please don't put your casting list of females here in the Male casting discussion. If you are a site member, please send me a DM of your list and I'll go through it with you. I'm going to post a discussion of female casting here sometime this week. Like with males, it's more complicated than you think.
UPDATE: Since writing this post, I've had three people message me to say "I live outside the USA. How can we make it work?". So let me more clear: if you are not able to legally work in the USA, we CANNOT HIRE YOU TO WORK IN THE USA. Period. It's the law.
Hey everyone - we shot some special content with Jenna Starr a while back for our clipstores a while back, and I wanted to bring it to you site members. So, we are doing something a little different this week. Instead of slave orders, you get a Foot Worship video with Jenna today. We have an ass worship video of Jenna coming on Aug 14, and then a Facesitting video with Jenna on Aug 23. Don't worry... slave orders will be back next week. --Glenn
Hi Everyone! I hope all of our MeanBitches members are staying safe! . Porn companies can't shoot new content right now in the traditional way (states have lockdown orders, so you can't get a cameraperson , crew , and talent to come to set). By now, you have seen other porn sites putting up "remastered content" or "best of" content, which is really content you have already seen before. I, Glenn King, commit to you MeanBitches members that I'm going to work as hard as I can to give you brand new, hot content! Today you see our first "Mean Bitches At Home" scene, which Daisy Ducati filmed for us at her home. We have other performers making similar scenes for us now in their homes with their housemates. We also have some content we shot a while back which I never put on MeanBitches.com so that I would have new content for you in case of emergency (like the recent Luna Star scene). We even have a POV Slave Orders coming soon where Daisy sits on a toilet and pees on your face! (a lot of people have asked for this). You will notice a difference between the new content and the traditional way of doing things. Some of you will like it better than the old way. Hopefully, we can get back to shooting traditional MeanBitches style scenes in the near future. Thanks to everyone for being members... some of you have been with us for 18 years!. Stay safe!.... --Glenn King
From AVN Magazine:
roducer/Director Glenn King will be inducted into the Hall of Fame as part of the 2020 class. King is one of the pioneers of the Femdom genre and is the creator of the well-known MeanBitches.com website.
“I can’t even begin to express how much this honor means to me,” said King, “This really isn’t about me. It’s about all the fans who have enjoyed my videos and spread the word about us, and it’s about all the people who showed kindness to me and helped me along the way. David Christopher helped me get my start in the business. John Stagliano helped elevate me from the world of fetish into a much bigger audience. Farrell Hirsch and Christy Canyon gave me my start in Radio. Christian Mann helped me understand our industry and where I fit in. Bill Fox helped me with everything in my life. My Production Manager Jim Orlando is the guy who does all the work. The actresses and actors who appear in my videos deserve most of the credit; they are the ones the fans pay to see. And, I have been blessed to work with some of the very best Makeup Artists, Camera, and crew. I owe all of them a huge thanks! I am grateful to the people at AVN for giving me this great honor. And lastly, I must thank the fans. The fans are the ones who have made it possible for me to do what I do.”
Glenn King started in the adult industry in 2002 as a webmaster for a fetish site and soon expanded into producing and directing scenes for DVDs. After distributing through Gentlemen’s Video and Kickass Pictures, he was asked by John Stagliano to direct for Evil Angel. He later moved to Exquisite Pictures, who distributes for him today. King won industry acclaim in 2017, capturing the AVN Award for Best Web Director. Over the years, he has produced/directed well over 2,000 scenes.
In addition to his success as a producer, he is also well known for his work as a radio host. King was the first male host at Playboy Spice Radio, and currently hosts a podcast with more than 70,000 subscribers called Mature Audiences Mayhem. He also has contributed to the industry by moderating panels at the AVN Expo and was a highly influential member of the FSC Advisory Board during the time when they created the PASS system.
The AVN Hall of Fame Class of 2020 will be officially inducted at the 2020 AVN Awards Show, which takes place January 25. And they’ll also be celebrated at the kickoff event to the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo (AEE), which will take place at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas a week from today (January 21), the night before AEE begins.
