Hi Everyone! It's been a while since I wrote a really good blog... let's change that today. First, let's talk about casting! Here are the performers currently on the calendar: We have content in the can (shot but not released yet) with Mia James, Lana Ryder, and Ashlyn Peaks. We have on the calendar: Addyson James, Alura Luxe, Lauren Phillips and Cali Sweets (two dommes, one slave - directed by John Stagliano. This is "Buttman goes to MeanWorld 2"., Kay Kay, Ashlyn Taylor, Natasha Carter. I need to have a discussion with you guys about the Talent Pool. I don’t know if any of you have noticed, but when you go to the pump get gasoline, the price of gas has gone up greatly. The same thing applies with travel. Jet fuel costs have gone way up, so flight costs have gone way up. I just looked this up the other day... it used to cost me $120 to fly a girl from Los Angeles to Las Vegas on Southwest Airlines and fly back the same night. When I looked it up the same flight last week, it cost $720. I can’t afford to fly performers in and neither can most other companies. I speak to a lot of the other production companies in Las Vegas and they’re all dealing with the same thing. None of us wanna pay for Travel anymore because we can’t afford it. The good news is that the word seems to be getting out to the performers. I used to see a lot of performers talking on Twitter about how they would never go to a city to perform unless the company was flying them out but a lot of them are starting to realize that it’s just not gonna happen. And so performers are starting to book more and more trips where they’ll go to a city like either Los Angeles or Las Vegas for one week or two weeks, book a bunch of content trades so they can make content for their onlyfans, and then hope to get two or three professional bookings while they are in town. I get maybe 10 emails per week from performers who say "hey I’m coming to town on X dates I would love to shoot for you". Obviously we don’t have spots for everyone. And a lot of them just don’t time it correctly. If someone says to me “I will be in town next week and I hope to shoot for you “, I’m already gonna be booked at that point. Remember, we only shoot one scene per week so I usually book 4 scenes at a time. I do it that way so that I don’t end up with four girls who all look alike. It's been working out very well so far... we've been getting some great out of town performers and some great vegas perfomers. My only complaint is that I don't really have any blonde brat superstars here in vegas. If Emma Rosie moved to vegas, we'd be shooting her a lot! Now lets talk about the new Age Verification system: We at Meanbitch Productions have always been extremely protective of your privacy. You have probably noticed that you’ve never gotten an email from us marketing newsletters. We’ve never sold your information to anyone, and we don’t even keep your information on the website. We deliberately set things up so that we don’t get to see your information. I don’t get to see your real names. I don’t get to see your credit cards. I don’t even get to see your passwords. Did you know that some of your favorite websites have actually sold your user combinations of username and password? It’s very valuable to someone who might try that same combination other sites to see where else it might work. We don’t do any of that. The only thing I see when I look up one of you is your username and your email address, and when your membership expires. So it really pains me to do what we’re doing this week: implementing an age verification system. There are 27 states that have now passed age verification laws. If we do not have a real age verification in place, any one of those states can hit us with massive fines and put us out of business. The government is already given out very large fines to chaturbate, xhamster, motherless, pornhub. They have not given out any fines yet to smaller companies. They’ve only gone after the bigger companies. I am a small company so while the odds of them going after us are not great at the moment, but it’s one of those things where it only takes one bad day to put your company out of business. It would make sense for the state governments to start going after smaller companies because that would scare all of the other companies. They could easily choose a company, levy $100,000 worth of fines and put them out of business and then scare all the other companies in the compliance. We don’t want to be that company. I’ll also give you one more reason why we’re doing this: we really do not want adult content to get into the hands of minors. I don’t think it’s a bad thing that we’re doing something to make adult content less easily accessible to minors. I just don’t think we’re good at it the wrong way. What we should do is have a nationwide database for you as a consumer just sign up once to us to get a card of some sort that they could then be accepted at adult sites. But alas, there’s no such thing. So we’ve put an approach that I believe is the least intrusive way to do this. We are using a company called, verifying.my. When you go to the website, if you live in a state where they require age verification, you’re going to get a message saying that you need to verify your age, but if you have already verified at verify.my at another website, you’re not gonna have to do anything for this other than give us a verification code. Verify.my works with thousands of websites. When I went to do mine, i realized that I had already done it somewhere else. So the way it works is that you put in your email address, it check to see if you're already verified, and that they provide age verification form, which is thousands of thousands of websites. If you have verified for another website , they give you a verification code. You type it into a box and you’re good to go. Nothing intrusive. If you have not verified yet, and they will ask you to upload a copy of your ID and take a selfie. That’s the part that I dislike, but whether you do it for my website. or somebody else’s, you’re gonna have to do it eventually if you wanna watch porn. Age verification laws have been settled by the Supreme Court, it’s something that is legal or states to pass that law, and they’re being passed. Who knows they may pass a federal law as well. So it’s something that I have to do to stay in business. And it's something EVERY PORNSITE IN THE USA will eventually have to do. It’s not something that I want to do because I don’t like the idea of you guys uploading your IDs to anybody, but it’s just the way of the world these days. You don’t make it 25 years of this business by ignoring the laws.
