More bad luck with trying to shoot the new Ryan Conner scene. Someone in the adult industry in Florida tested positive for HIV. When that happens, the entire industry shuts down until we can test everyone involved and make sure it won't be spread. We hope this only takes a few days to resolve, so that we can shoot the Ryan Conner scene soon without having to postpone a few weeks. --Glenn UPDATE: The Production Hold has been lifted. Basically, they tested everyone who had sexual contact with the infected person and everyone was negative. This indicates that it did not spread from that person to anyone else in the industry. We can't prevent people in our industry from having sex with people they are dating, someone they just met at a club, or some other random person. All we can do is prevent them from spreading it. Anyway... now the trick is to get the Ryan Conner scene rescheduled as soon as possible. We are aiming for Monday, and I just need to get a confirmation from our makeup artist. With the 3 cancellations we've had in the last 4 weeks, I was a little concerned about running out of content to put up... that's not gonna happen. :)
Hi everyone! Here's what's happening: We shot a great scene this week with Blake Blossom. It's really different when working with someone who has been to my house and dominated me for fun off camera. You can see a stronger connection, but maybe a little less meaner... This week we are finally shooting Ryan Conner (hopefully)! I took myself out of the cast and put in Silas. I've been in too much lately. We will give the younger guy a chance. He will do a great job! Others on the calendar: Tera Winters, Lexi Love. I need to do some casting for July... People have asked for me to talk about how things work behind the scenes, so now is a great time to talk about how we go about creating new scenes for July. The first thing I look at this: what types of performers do I want to cast? We try to shoot a good variety so everyone gets what they want. I have 4 scenes to fill. Assuming we get the Ryan Conner scene shot, we will have a good big butt scene coming, and we also have Lexi Love on the calendar, so I'm gonna start by focusing on other types. It has been a while since we had an asian performer. I'm thinking of either Ember Snow or Jade Kimiko, Goddess Lolly. Next, I want a pro domme or someone with a lot of domme experience. Helly Hellfire is ready to come out of retirement and she has been doing IRL domme sessions for the last few years. There's two scenes. After that is the hard part. I could either go for an african american performer (maybe Baby Gemini), or maybe it's time for another Ashlyn Peaks scene. I also could look at our pool of fresh faces or touring talent and see if anyone looks exciting. There's a little insight about how my casting thinking works. Next week I'll talk about how we start to plan a scene once we have selected the cast. --Glenn
Reposting this so everyone can see it on the front page: Ok everyone… let’s talk about casting new males in our videos. We get around 5-10 emails from guys each week who want to be in our videos. So why do you see the same 3-4 guys in every scene? Because it’s a lot more complicated than you might think. Being in the videos is a lot of fun and I wish it was something that all of you could experience at least once! But… here’s why it’s not practical for most males:
1) I can’t hire anyone to do this job who is not legally able to work in the USA. It’s not me being unfair to foreigners - It’s me obeying the law. One of the ways you stay in business for 22 years is to obey all laws.
2) Performing in femdom scenes is not a full time job. It’s a 3 hour job that pays $325. At most, we would put you in 10 scenes a year, which is less than 1 scene per month. The guys we use make a living by working for a variety of companies, making their own content, and doing other work. I can’t help you with any of that. I pay you for the scene, say goodbye at the end of the day, and then you are on your own until I have another scene for you.
3) You do not get to choose who you want to be in a scene with. I book a female performer and then choose the male performer I think will be the best fit in the scene.
4) You cannot wear a mask or ask me to blur your face in the scene. Once you perform in one scene, your face will be on the Internet forever. That means 10 years from now if you are applying for a job and they use facial recognition software to scan the internet, they will find it. We had a female performer in England who was denied travel to the USA recently when the British Government found out she did porn (by scanning social media).
5) We do not pay for travel. So if you do not live in Vegas, you would probably spend way more on travel to get here than you will get in the scene. It would not make good business sense to pay for someone’s travel when we could just use someone who is already here in Vegas. If you are considering travel costs, make sure you factor in hotel costs.
6) All performers must be STD tested within 14 days of the scene. The STD test costs $220, takes 1-2 days for results, and you must pay for it yourself. It would not make good business sense for us to pay for your test when we could use someone who gets tested every two weeks like Jack, Fluffy, Marcelo, me. Guys who work in the industry stay tested all the time because they work for a variety of different companies and are able to use the same test for numerous scenes/content.
7) Scenes are often canceled or moved. If a female performer wakes up on the morning of her scene and says “I’m sick”, there is nothing I can do. So for those of you who say “I’ll fly in from 1,000 miles away for the scene!”, you might end up in a situation where you flew all the way out here and then the scene doesn’t happen”. Not a problem for talent who already lives in Vegas.
8) Every time we make a new scene, it’s an investment that comes out of my pocket. I have to pay a makeup artist, a female talent, a male talent, a production manager, pay for any props or set design, and pay for food on set. If the male talent doesn’t show up, or shows up unable to perform, I lose the money for that day and I don’t get the new content I need. If he can’t get an erection with a cameraman and production crew staring at him from 3 feet away, or he can’t cum, or if he has poor hygiene and the female performer is uncomfortable working with him, I might end up with a bad scene. It’s a huge risk for my business every time I try a new male performer.
9) Female performers have a choice about what scenes they do. Many of them ask before the scene “who will I be working with?”, and sometimes they say no. If you don’t have a twitter or IG with pictures of yourself, there’s a good chance the female performer will say no to the scene. Many of them will decline to work with performers they find unattractive. That’s why I say it’s impractical to shoot a 70 year old man. Remember how you felt about 70 year old woman when you were 22 years old? That’s how they see 70 year old men.
So you can see why we generally look for male performers who live in Vegas and are already regularly performing in the industry. Nothing personal… it’s just what makes sense for the business and for the performers.
NOTE: Please don't put your casting list of females here in the Male casting discussion. If you are a site member, please send me a DM of your list and I'll go through it with you. I'm going to post a discussion of female casting here sometime this week. Like with males, it's more complicated than you think.
UPDATE: Since writing this post, I've had three people message me to say "I live outside the USA. How can we make it work?". So let me more clear: if you are not able to legally work in the USA, we CANNOT HIRE YOU TO WORK IN THE USA. Period. It's the law.
Hi everyone... here's what's happening: We had our second canceled scene in a row this week. Mellanie Monroe had a family emergency. We cast carefully and do everything we can to avoid cancellations, but things happen. As a producer, I have to pay kill fees when a scene gets canceled less than 24 hours before the scene. In other words, the makeup artist, camerawoman, and crew still get paid (although less). Sometimes we re-cast the scene quickly and shoot a different scene that week, but the main goal is to have enough content in the can so that if something gets canceled we just move on to next week. It's very rare to have two scenes canceled in a row.... You might notice soon that I've been in a lot of scenes lately. I didn't intend to be in that many but I'm the backup talent for every scene and sometimes things work out that way. Silas had a family emergency and had to cancel two scenes and leave town for a while, and then a scene with Marcelo was canceled by the female talent. You are gonna see a lot of me, but we will go back to normal soon with new scenes with Silas, Jack, Marcelo... a few of you have been asking about OF performers again. If you look back through the news section you will see a posting called "female casting" where I explain our constraints. A lot of performers these days make a name for themselves and then focus on their onlyfans pages or other forms of their own content. They make a lot of money, so no need to go work for someone else anymore. I'd love to shoot a new Riley Reid scene as much as you guys! But it's not gonna happen. Riley makes millions a year off her own content. If you don't see a performer list a talent agency on her twitter, it's unlikely we will have access to her... Our June calendar currently has Blake Blossom, Ryan Conner, Tera Winters, Hotwife Lexi Love... a lot of you asked for more Tera Winters, so I'm glad to get her back. One Meanbitches member said "there's something about her... the way she looks into the camera and at the slave... she's just different." I agree. She's really seductive. She's a succubus... Personally, I haven't been up to much lately other than hiking. I'm down now from 170 pounds on Jan 1 to 149 pounds today. My dog and I are going 3-5 miles her day (mostly in the evenings now that it's summer). I did do a new content trade with Jezabel Vessir this week. I think that was #6. Most of these are around 20 min and I think 4 of them have BG sex in them. I love working with her!... Helly Hellfire is going to start training to be a camerawoman/director for me this week. So if this works out, we will soon have me, Heather Vaahn, Helly Hellfire directing scenes for us. You guys will get some different perspectives. I do worry that after 23 years I'm not as creative as I once was. Getting some fresh faces in to direct will be good for the site. And maybe I'll get some time to travel and see my family. :)... I've realized I have a fetish for short skirts. I love seeing a girl's ass peeking out from the bottom of a skirt and I love seeing her pull up the skirt and spread her ass. I hope you guys do too, because it's the first thing that comes to mind when I'm giving girls wardrobe requests for a scene.
